Presentation Guidelines

To help everything run seamlessly during the sessions, please review carefully the guidelines.

Durations

Workshops have a maximum duration of 60 minutes. Lectures have a maximum duration of 30 minutes, in addition to a 10 minute Q&A.

Technical instructions for posters

  • Size A1, there will be magnets to attach the posters, orientation vertical.

  • The posters can be attached on Wednesday morning and dismounted on Sunday after the last poster session.

  • Please note that posters will not be retained or sent to presenters after the conference.

  • All poster presenters may also upload their poster to the online Poster Gallery as a PDF file. Access link to Oxford abstracts to upload the poster file will be sent to you 2 weeks before the conference.

  • Uploading your poster to poster gallery is optional but recommended.  

Technical instructions for presentations

  • Format: PPT/PPTX/PDF format

  • Aspect ratio: 16:9

  • Use standard fonts, minimum font size: 24 pt

  • Embed possible videos

  • Bring your presentation to the lecture room on a USB stick well in advance before your session starts. Please check that your presentation works on your USB stick.

  • There will be computers in the session rooms.

  • There will be two technicians and couple of volunteers helping with the
    technique during the conference if needed.
