Submission and Portal
Submission | All submissions must be made via the official online submission system. Email submissions will not be accepted.
Editing | You may sign in again to amend your submission until the final submission deadline.
Completeness | Incomplete abstracts will not be reviewed.
Proposal Requirements
Language & length | Abstracts and workshop descriptions must be written in English. The body text is limited to 350 words. Please proofread carefully.
Title | Write the title in capital letters.
References | References are not required. If included, they must be counted within the word limit.
Authors & affiliations | List all authors’ names. Affiliations must include institution, city, and country. Mark the presenting author(s) using the tick box. For workshops, list the organiser(s).
Bio | Presenting authors must provide a short biography (maximum 100 words). This will appear in the program.
Acceptance and Publication
Notification | Acceptance information will be sent to the submitter. Further correspondence may also be sent to the presenting author(s).
Contact details | An email address is required for all presenters on the submission form. If the presenting author changes, please notify events@certia.fi.
Publication | Accepted abstracts and workshops will be published in the online program (and, if applicable, in the printed book of abstracts).
Review Criteria
All submissions will undergo peer review by experts in string pedagogy and related fields. Submissions will be evaluated based on:
Innovation and originality
Practical applicability to string education
Quality of research or pedagogical framework
Clarity of presentation
Potential impact on the field
Young Professionals
We give special consideration to submissions from individuals who have recently completed their studies or are in the final stages of their education (Bachelor, Master, Postgraduate, or PhD).
Young professionals are requested to indicate their degree upon submission of proposal.
